Once your anthology passes through Discovery and enters into the Enhancement stage, you will be first presented with the status of your uploaded files. It will be here that you will be able to see which files were processed and which ones failed. If you had files that failed and you would like to try to get them to process, click ‘Reprocess Failed Files.”
This action will send your anthology back to the end of the Discovery stage in which all of the files are being checked. Keep Use the Check Status Panel to see if any files in your Anthology failed during the Processing Phase.
Failed Files
Files do sometimes "fail" in the Processing Phase. The term describes a technical process—BiblioLabs has not decided to reject your file! Sometimes there are technical issues with the files themselves, and sometimes our system is overloaded. Please be patient as we work to pass your files through to Enhancement.
Reprocessing
Warning |
---|
Reprocessing failed files will send your Anthology back to the Processing Phase. You will not be able to make changes to your Anthology until it returns to the Enhancement Phase. |
Click the button to reprocess files that have failed. In most cases, the files will pass processing successfully on the second try. If the files fail again, our technical team can investigate why.
Keep in mind that it could take up to several hours for the failed files to reprocess. If you do not want to reprocess your files and are content that the files that failed will not be in your anthology, simply move on to “Review Content Quality.”at this time, move on to the Review Quality Panel. You may return to the Review Quality Panel and reprocess the failed files at your convenience.
If your files continue to fail a second time, do not reprocess them. Please contact support, and , please contact us at support@biblioboard.com and we’ll help you work through the issue.
