Converting TIFF to JPEG Using Preview.app

To convert .tif to .jpg using Preview (Mac OSX), follow these steps:

 

  1. Open the .tif in Preview



  2. Click on File > Export



  3. Make sure to name your file properly and choose JPEG from the drop down menu next to Format. Choose which folder you'd like to save it in and click Save.
